This Greek Revival style building is located in a historic community west of Chicago and it seems to fit in seamlessly…except this a commercial office building and not a historic residence!

When the local owner bought the property for his business, zoning did not allow a commercial structure so the owner contacted us to see if we could solve the dilemma.

Working with the local officials, we came up with a compromise…if we could make the building look like a historic residence, the Village would allow the business to go ahead with their plans.

Needless to say this turned out to be a win-win for everyone.  Some times architecture is much more than just designing building..it’s about solving problems.
